Wow this video ignores a lot just to push a terrible message. Aside from the classic blame america theme and disregarding the effects on American citizens and stability, he also ignores the how this effects other nations. Removing restrictive measures only makes it worse even if gangs are no longer able to profit, it just incentivizes more to take the chance, putting more lives danger stressing local resources evermore and causing conflict in every nation they go through. The Nations of origin are also badly affected by this as well, their economies suffer from labour shortages and a brain drain if more educated people leave as well. As thier economies decline further, more and more will leave and put massive stress on the only ones you claim can help them. The tired sanctions argument has been bedunked numerous times, especially in Venezuela's case, but I'm not surprised considering you ignore a lot of facts and details in a video mired in root cause fallacy. While American intervention does cause quite a few fundamental problems in the region and you could make a case ending such foreign policy, they too have inherent problems they should work to fix or reform themselves. They can't do that if the flight of human capital continues on this scale or increases, they'll only destabilize further, something you don't seem to understand one bit. Your hatred of the US seemingly boils into disregard for American citizens through ignorance, why should we pay for those who can't make in the US and contribute to the economy in any way, because they have some sob story on how they took their children through a dangerous jungle? Don't get me started on the conflicts that have brewed in our major cities between them and locals. They have no incentive to do anything other than expect benefits because they are incentivized to do so, naturally they will also back their own and would persue their interests even it causes problems. Americans would rightly see this unfair and in just causes more suffering on both sides. Ignoring human nature is possibly the most dangerous message in this video, even if you don't outwardly say it. I don't know if you're just naïve or a propagandist but the amount of ignorance and bias in this video is insane. The appeal to emotion this presentation tries to depend on is just sickening.

As a pākeha I grew up witnessing so much casual racism in the 2000s. Most of the adults in my life grew up in a time before the Race Relations Act. They were stubborn in their beliefs that “they shouldn’t be forcing this on us”, when the government and public institutions started using bilingual communications and embracing Te Tiriti principles. Things are slowly changing, but our current conservative government is undoing a lot of important progress despite our deputy prime minister being Māori. Our country is in a weird time, and the division between classes is becoming greater as the government increasingly acts in favour of the rich. 😕
